Privacy Policy

Eli Hergott, doing business as Structor ("Structor", "we", "us") provides a construction operations platform for builders and developers. Each customer company runs on its own isolated Structor instance, and Structor is available through the web and the Structor app for iPhone and iPad. This policy explains what information the platform handles, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Who this covers
Structor accounts are created by a customer company's administrators for their employees, subcontractors, and other people who work on their projects. There is no public sign-up. The company you work with decides who gets an account and what that account can see. The company is responsible for the project information it keeps in Structor; we operate the platform on its behalf.
Information we handle
- Account details: your name, work email address, phone number, company, trade or role, persistent account ID and username, and login credentials.
- Project information: the schedules, tasks, permits, invoices, plans, documents, site addresses, inspection records, and job-site photos that you and your company add to a project.
- Messages: where a company enables it, project-related email sent to the company's mailboxes is stored in Structor so it can be attached to the right project. SMS and push notifications sent to you are also logged.
- Assistant and browser tasks: if you enable these features, we store your requests, conversation history, web-search queries, results, and task records. Browser task records can include visited website addresses, page content and screenshots from the task you authorize. We do not read your personal Safari or other browser history.
- Device information: if you allow notifications, a push-notification token for your device. Older inspection records may contain site coordinates entered during weather lookup; current inspections use manual weather readings and the app does not request your device location. Structor does not collect contacts or advertising identifiers, and does not track you across other apps or websites.
How it is used
- To run the platform: sign you in, show you your projects, and store what you and your company add.
- To notify you: schedule changes, task assignments, invoice and permit status, and similar project updates, by push notification, SMS, or email.
- To provide assisted features: some companies enable an assistant that summarises project mail, drafts routine updates, and flags items for review. To do this, relevant project text is processed by third-party AI providers OpenAI and Anthropic after you explicitly allow the relevant AI feature. You can decline and use the other tools, or withdraw permission in Account & Privacy. Permission also covers the background rules you enable and analysis of documents you authorize; new AI transfers stop when you withdraw permission. Withdrawal cannot recall information already processed.
- To keep the platform secure and reliable, including backups and security monitoring. Sign-ins and sensitive actions are recorded in an audit log with your account, the time, and the network (IP) address the request came from.
Camera and photos
The Structor app asks for camera and photo-library access only when you choose to take or attach a job-site photo or document. Photos you upload are stored with the project you attach them to and are visible to the people your company has given access to that project.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information and do not share it for advertising. Information is shared only with service providers that help us run the platform, and only as needed to do so:
- Fly.io and Cloudflare for hosting and network delivery, and Tigris for hosted backup storage. These services handle the content stored or transmitted through them and network information needed to operate the service.
- Apple Push Notification service for device tokens and notification payloads; Twilio and SMS carriers for phone numbers and messages where a company enables SMS.
- OpenAI and Anthropic for the requests and relevant records you authorize for assisted features, including browser-task page content and screenshots. Their handling is described in the OpenAI privacy policy and Anthropic privacy policy. Withdrawing permission stops new transfers; it does not instantly erase provider records already created. Contact us for help with deletion of those records.
- Your company's authorized email provider for connected mailboxes. Some web pages load Google Fonts, which receives ordinary network request information; the native app does not load these web fonts.
- Authorities or third parties when required by law or to protect the safety and rights of our customers and users.
Service providers processing personal information on our behalf must use it only to provide and secure the relevant service or as required by law, and must provide protection at least equivalent to this policy and the applicable App Store privacy requirements.
People at your company with the appropriate role can see the project information you add. External parties your company invites, such as an inspector or supplier, see only the pages your company shares with them.
Security
The app connects to Structor over HTTPS. Stored mailbox content and its attachments are encrypted at rest with per-company keys. Local recovery snapshots preserve that encryption but are not separately encrypted archives of all project data. Access to server data and backups is restricted, and each company's data is isolated in its own instance. Access is controlled by the roles your company assigns. No system is perfectly secure, and we work to correct any weakness we find promptly.
Retention and deletion
We retain account and project records while they are needed to provide your company's workspace and keep its project history. Security and audit records are kept to investigate incidents and meet applicable obligations. Retention depends on the record and the company's legal requirements; closing a project or signing out does not automatically delete its records. You can request details about the records associated with you using the contact below.
You can initiate deletion in the app: open Account & Privacy, choose Request account deletion, and confirm with your current password. No email or phone call is required to initiate the request. You receive an in-app receipt. We process requests manually within 30 days and confirm completion using the email on your account. AI permission is revoked immediately.
Deletion removes your account and associated personal information, except records we must retain for legal obligations. If retention is necessary, we explain which records are retained and for how long. Deactivating an account is not the same as completing deletion. Contact eli@rtbailey.com for help, correction requests, or if you cannot sign in.
Your device and sharing choices
You can change camera, photo and notification permissions in your device's Settings. Declining optional permissions leaves the other tools available. Files you explicitly export or share are controlled by the destination you choose and are not removed by signing out of Structor. Essential web session cookies keep you signed in; we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Children
Structor is a business tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way we will update the date above and notify customer companies through the platform.
